True humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less.- C.S. Lewis
Just a reminder peeps, be kind, care, show respect to everyone, no matter if it’s the janitor, or the CEO. Also have understanding and do something for nothing.
Love the people in your life, don’t take people for granted and cherish every second.
If someone’s been edgy and rude towards you, instead of replying in a similar way, or judging that person try finding out why that person might be behaving like that. Why ?? And be polite whilst finding out. People go through a lot and tend to keep it to themselves . At times people just need someone to share their story with, even if you just have to sit there and listen….. just listen to what the person have to say …. it makes a huge difference. You don’t have to say anything.
All what a person might need is for someone to just listen to them.
You never know if you’ll reach that person again… you don’t really don’t when’s the last time you’re meeting someone … so my advise to all is be kind and be careful what you say to people. People always remember you how kind you are to them.
Life is a gift and it can be taken away from us in a split second. A second means so much . Believe me. A few months ago I was in a horrific situation. I was at work and we were been robbed… the robber obviously was with a weapon and it was a second more myself and a coworker would have been face to face with the robber.. and god knows what could have happened.
Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.
Humility, that low, sweet root, from which all heavenly virtues shoot.
– Thomas Moore
“If selfishness is the key to being miserable, then selflessness must be the key to being happy!” – Joyce Meyer
Some people fail to realize that material things don’t matter.
In today’s society it’s mostly about money. People are so focused on what brand name footwear, jeans, what fancy car or house to get and they get so caught up about the materialistic living forgetting about that one that matters the most …..family.
When they do realize that none of those things matter they come to regret it.
There’s no need to impress anyone with material things, people should be impressed of your kindness and love for others.
It’s the time you spend with people, the memories you make, the love and kindness that you share with the people around you.. that’s what matters.
Don’t be impressed by money, followers, degrees and titles. Be impressed by kindness, integrity, humility and generosity.
